I saw an interesting article today about the effects of technology on our daily lives.  While computers and machines certainly have made some things easier, they also contribute a great deal to the amount of stress we endure from day to day, especially in the workplace.  A soothing, spiritual retreat to put you back in touch with yourself, naturally, might be just what we all need to escape from this cycle of stress-inducing technology.

According to a recent study on full-time office workers in the US, productivity and stress go hand-in-hand.  And we all know that stress can cause a wide variety of serious health problems, physical, mental and spiritual.  Relaxation isn’t always easy if your job is very stressful, and sometimes we all just need to get away.  Yoga, meditation, and massage are all fantastic ways of decreasing stress and encouraging mental, physical and spiritual health.
